Join Us for Jamming and Pickling Classes
Ever wanted to learn how to make your own jams and pickles? Now's your chance! We're offering jamming and pickling classes in June, July & August. We will walk you through everything from start to finish and you’ll leave with a few jars for your pantry.
Jamming Class: Saturday, July 13th at 1 - 4 pm.
Learn about fruit preparation, how to jam without pectin, and safe canning techniques. We will be jamming with berries and stone fruit.
Pickling Class: Saturday, July 27th at 1 - 4 pm.
Get the lowdown on making crisp, flavorful pickles. We’ll make classic cucumber pickles, plus pickled beets, radishes, carrots, zucchini and maybe even peppers.
Tomatoes: Saturday, August 17th at 1 - 4 pm.
We’ll make a tomato sauce, ketchup and pickled cherry tomatoes, just in time for you to preserve summer’s bounty.
Cost: $50 per class (you’ll get to take home a few jars of your creation)
